Marilyn does all the grant budget accounting for IWS as well as balancing spreadsheets with Banner. She makes sure faculty, staff, and students are being paid from the correct grant funds, and that there are no inappropriate charges to the grants.

Marilyn also does the data input for monthly Lake Whatcom report and has been know to wash a few dishes in the Lab.
Marilyn Attended WWU for one year, 1969-1970 (when it was still known as Western Washington State College)
She Began working at WWU in July of 1970; fulltime in Wilson Library from 1970 till 1986, when she started working part-time for IWS from 1986 to now.
Marilyn's hobbies include: reading, needlework, swimming and gardening. She also Designed and helped build her family's home.
She also loves to travel, but unfortunately all their travel funds are currently going to WSU. Her son, Chris, is a junior at WSU and her daughter, Meghan, is now a high school freshman at Sehome.
